The Hotel Bagués is a small, 5-star boutique hotel located on Barcelona’s famous Rambla and near the historic Gothic Quarter. An elegant and sophisticated hotel-museum which is perfect for clients looking for luxury accommodation with exquisite personalised attention in the heart of Barcelona’s cultural and shopping area. Housed in a historic building dating from 1850, and the former headquarters and workshop of the jewellers Bagués-Masriera, the building was completely refurbished before it opened as a hotel in 2010.
The hotel is a splendid example of the Catalan art nouveau, or "modernista", style and has 31 luxurious guest rooms decorated with the finest materials and each displaying an exclusive piece of art nouveau jewellery from the Masriera Collection.
The hotel’s first floor houses the Bagués-Masriera Museum Function Room, an exclusive venue with a permanent exhibition of part of the collection of this centuries-old jewellery brand. The hotel also offers luxury services including a Restaurant & Cocktail bar at the lobby, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, meeting room and rooftop swimming pool.
